My THUMBS UP is for the eloquent Raking Over the Coals, this, too tired, or too afraid, to fight the good fight, Conservative Pundit, is receiveing in the Comments Forum, from hundreds of ouraged, and offended, Conservatives who do not have the platform, and influence she will soon wich she could still wield.
ONE EXAMPLE COMES FROM A LONGTIME FRIEND OF MINE, WHOSE OPINIONS I ADMIRE, AND WHOSE ADVICE AND ENCOURAGEMENT I CHERISH...
I AGREE WITH EVERY WORD:
"TO A FEMALE JACKAL IN WINTER
Washed-up has-been, wrinkled and aging, bereft of real power and access, now a cranky irrelevant gummer grousing about popular and real youth and beauty in your vile, toothless last hurrah just two weeks before the election. Your treacherous timing is exceeded only by your imagined hubris, Miss Piggy, er, Peggy.
You can't put Palin in one of your tired cliché boxes, but this is your personal mental failure, not Governor Palin's. It's about the values, stupid.
Thanks for your final Declarations, darling. I now know to skip over whatever you write as quickly as I avoid Gary Trudeau's 'toons and Michael Moore's movies.
Goodbye, vapid old woman, goodbye. Here's hopin' the WSJ drops your rant pieces like a hot potato. I am so weary of your exhausted metaphors.
I wish you well, but I can't wish you luck. Bummer. But, tellin' the truth, I frankly don't believe you give a damn."
