An excellent idea!

I've been feeling the symptoms of the Patriotic Flu affecting me since last Nov....

Put succinctly, Patriotic Flu is the inability on the part of disgruntled citizens to perform daily work functions in reaction to recent unconstitutional behavior of our supposed representative government. This disease will manifest itself in a November 30th outbreak of illness across this land.

It is not merely enough, however, to simply call into work sick. Also, to participate effectively, you must notify your Representatives, Senators, and the White House itself, that you have succumbed to the Patriotic Flu.

If for some reason, it is not in your best interest to stay home from work, please participate by notifying those same parties, that you have the disease. All calls, emails, faxes or visits must be made on that Monday."

I can't afford to call in sick, so will go to work sick, and let my Senators, and Representatives, know of this....luckily Tuesday is my day off. ;-D

David Horowitz gives advice on how to defeat the Left, and for starters he writes:

"1. Do the Unexpected. Raise Their Discomfort Level. Put them Off-Balance. Invert the Myth.

All four of these objectives are accomplished by inverting the Myth.

The left feeds off the Myth that they are on the side of the Underdog, they are serving the underserved, defending society�s victims, championing the oppressed.

By picking an issue and framing it so that it inverts the myth you accomplish all of the above."

A Lion of the Mainstream Print Media throws in its first 3 towels, and it's a sad day for journalism regardless of your politics.

Don't worry, they will still ignore the scandals that the Conservative Media, Websites, and Blogs have been reporting.
