Don't call the Swiss Cheesy, call them Couragious instead!

    FROM THE PIECE:

"Swiss voters overwhelmingly approved a constitutional ban on minarets on Sunday, barring construction of the iconic mosque towers in a surprise vote that put Switzerland at the forefront of a European backlash against a growing Muslim population."

Their Supreme Court may go for appeasement, and strike the law down or, barring that, the European Court of Human Rights may do the appeasing, but good on the Swiss for speaking up in the face of a mortal danger to their nation, and all of Europe.

Considering the way Islam has treated, and continues to treat, non-Muslims, and folks who leave Islam for another religion, those whining about Freedom, and Human Rights, need to shut the hell up.

    This is disturbing news.

We are a nation under attack, the Western World is under attack, in so many ways, large, and small, not just from Liberal, Socialist, thought, but from a religion, and culture, that despises everything we stand for, and represses its followers as much as it does those who don't follow, or decide not to follow anymore.

It is Politically Incorrect to say this, but there are journalists, researchers, and websites, out there bringing the truth to the world every single day, and we need to pay attention.

    FROM THE ARTICLE:

"At the heart of this issue are the politically correct articles of faith that few dare blaspheme, which insist that there is nothing problematic about Islam's core texts and teachings regarding warfare and the rights of women and unbelievers, and that there exists a well-defined "moderate" Islam that the West can work with.

The problem is, no one ever stops to define "moderate," for fear that articulating actual standards may cause offense."

    An eye-opening essay:

    FROM THE PIECE:

"Islamist terrorists are not motivated by grievances, real or imagined, nor by old religious doctrines in and of themselves, but by the perception that their enemies are weak and that Allah -- after many years -- is again willing to grant victory to Muslim fighters.

But Islamists' certainty is not settled by one example. Allah's will must be ascertained by Muslims again and again.

The success of non-Islamic military operations is measured in terms of territory conquered or lost; in terms of governments defended, formed, or overthrown; or in terms of policies changed or maintained.

For the Islamist force, success is measured by how many Muslims become convinced that The Time Is Now.

In this regard, the much-maligned description "War on Terror" is exactly correct. Americans are fighting to ensure that most Muslims continue to believe that The Time Is NOT Now...by defeating those who pop their heads up for violent jihad.

But all of bin Laden's evidence comes from the infidel response to terror attacks and military engagements. How does this tie into the case of alleged Ft. Hood shooter, Maj. Nidal Hasan?

Bin Laden recruits terrorists by claiming lack of Western resolve to fight. Hasan is alleged to have verbally the resolve of the "system," both verbally and in writing -- and again and again he found it lacking. In doing so, he came to the same conclusion as bin Laden: that The Time Is Now. And Allah is indeed granting victory to Muslims. By blindly failing to disabuse Hasan of this belief, Americans "created the terrorist" in the form of the Ft. Hood shooter."

This article includes the extremely disturbing Slide Presentation, something that all Americans need to see.

I sometimes wonder just WHAT the hell a so-called "Moderate" Muslim is supposed to be considering all that the Koran teaches, and the more than thousand year history of Islam's treatment of non-believers, and those within its ranks caught not toeing the line (Things that go on every day today, around the world, including in America.).

Political Correctness is destroying Americas ability to fight enemies not just around the world, but within our own borders.

Mona Charen makes some valid points.

While I sometimes wonder just WHAT the hell a so-called "Moderate" Muslim is supposed to be considering all that the Koran teaches, and the more than thousand year history of Islam's treatment of non-believers, and those within its ranks caught not toeing the line (Things that go on every day today, around the world, including in America.), the rest of her essay is spot on.

    She writes:

"The repeated invocation of this libel has had an effect, though. It has succeeded in intimidating many Americans about the proper bounds of discussion. Gen. Casey reinforces this timidity when he frets that "our diversity" may be a casualty of the attack at Fort Hood. He and the Obama administration are obscuring the real challenge Americans face.

Our challenge is not to transcend the demons of vengeance clawing at our souls. Our challenge is to deal intelligently with a threat that arises from religious convictions. Non-bigoted observers can see that while the vast majority of the world's Muslims are not extremists, a significant minority are. And it matters what people believe.

We don't like to pass judgment on others' religious convictions. That's fine. But when a religious belief spurs violence and mass murder, it becomes political, and it becomes a proper concern of the military and security services.

Worldwide, Muslims believing themselves to be advancing the faith have committed more than 14,000 acts of violence just since 9/11. You know the litany: Madrid, London, Bali, Jerusalem, Mumbai, Amman. The list is long and bloody -- and it includes many innocent Muslims.

    Many hit home."

Victor Davis Hanson rips into the President for what he said this week, and tells him what he should have said.

    FROM THE ESSAY:

"When the entire story emerges of Hasanâ€s prior clear record of demonstrable hate and venom, and when such transgression is collated with the militaryâ€s inaction, and when all that is juxtaposed to the tepid, appeasing response of the Obama administration, I predict that there will be a firestorm that we have not yet witnessed.

What we are enduring is surrealâ€"have we lost our collective minds?"

This essay discusses a very important issue for the Freedom, and Safefy of the American People:

    As the writer says:

"As the enormity of the actions of Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan sinks in, we must ask whether we are confronting a new phenomenon of violent rage, one we might dub--disconcertingly--"Going Muslim." This phrase would describe the turn of events where a seemingly integrated Muslim-American--a friendly donut vendor in New York, say, or an officer in the U.S. Army at Fort Hood--discards his apparent integration into American society and elects to vindicate his religion in an act of messianic violence against his fellow Americans. This would appear to be what happened in the case of Maj. Hasan.

The difference between "going postal," in the conventional sense, and "going Muslim," in the sense that I suggest, is that there would not necessarily be a psychological "snapping" point in the case of the imminently violent Muslim; instead, there could be a calculated discarding of camouflage--the camouflage of integration--in an act of revelatory catharsis."

"Thatâ€s right! Even though the Apologist-In-Chief, the Great Empathizer with Radical Islam, the Socialist Leader of the United States doesnâ€t want to call the latest slaughter of Americans on US soil by a Muslim Jihadist a terror attack, anyone who opens their eyes can now see this was exactly that!"

    Wow!

This story, and the links it leads to, is quite disturbing.

    FROM THE STORY:

"And so a personnel file already teeming with red flags gets another giant one. If youâ€re wondering how a British newspaper managed to track down this information when the U.S. military apparently couldnâ€t, youâ€re not alone. Thereâ€s no question now that we need congressional hearings into how the army missed the warning signs on Hasan, especially given the suspicions as to why they might have looked the other way. Chop chop, Messrs. Boehner and Cantor."
