From the page: "The correspondence leaked through a Russian proxy server starts in 1996 and continues through to last week. It consists of over 1,000 emails, their attachments and some computer code. The correspondence was largely between members of The Team, a group of climate scientists and paleoclimatologists that evidently had a mission to convince the world that global warming was happening faster than the IPCC has predicted, and that the results would be worse than, again, the IPCC forecast."

From the page: Global warming appears to have stalled. Climatologists are puzzled as to why average global temperatures have stopped rising over the last 10 years. Some attribute the trend to a lack of sunspots, while others explain it through ocean currents.

At least the weather in Copenhagen is likely to be cooperating. The Danish Meteorological Institute predicts that temperatures in December, when the city will host the United Nations Climate Change Conference, will be one degree above the long-term average.

Otherwise, however, not much is happening with global warming at the moment. The Earth's average temperatures have stopped climbing since the beginning of the millennium, and it even looks as though global warming could come to a standstill this year.

The former vice president spoke on climate change at the Mizner Park Amphitheater to a crowd of about 800. More than 200 protesters gathered across the street from the event, and their boos and chants could be heard inside the amphitheater as Gore began his presentation.

From the page: The American Meteorological Society released the results of a survey of TV meteorologists gauging their opinions on climate change. With a full 50% of respondents disagreeing that man is responsible for global warming, the survey indicates continuing cracking in the �consensus� of the manmade climate change theory.

The survey results, published in the October 2009 issue of �oeBulletin of the American Meteorological Society” (BAMS), show that a significant portion of meteorologists continue to doubt that man is the driving force of climate change. When asked about the UN�s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change�s (IPCC) statement that �oeMost of the warming since 1950 is very likely human-induced,” a full 50% either disagree or strongly disagree. 25% were neutral and a mere 24% said they agreed or strongly agreed.
