I reject most every point the author made, implicitly or explicitly. 1) You don't get to define what "growing up" should mean for everyone. 2) College is essential for some professions but a waste of money for others. 3) Equating a high-paying job with success is simple-minded; some people may aim for contentment and lack of stress once a base level of financial security is reached (money and contentment don't enjoy a linear relationship). 4) Some people don't want a family; so? 5) Adult males and females (married or not) may spend some of their free time playing video games; why are your recreational activities superior? 6) ... Oh, you're blaming feminism now. I'm sorry, I was halfway taking you seriously.
