Richard Pexton is a 78 year old man from Lehi, UT, USA
My name is Richard Pexton but I prefer being Dick. I'm a 100% Grade A Entrepreneur. I left General Motors Acceptance Corporation after four years of seventy hour weeks and started selling library books to schools on a straight commission. I quadrupled my annual salary with GMAC in the first eight months of being my own boss and have never looked back. My business experience has been diversified. I have never wanted to work for or with somebody who could fire me.
Much of my professional resume emphasizes real estate. I have been a broker/owner of offices in three states. My specialty has been buying, selling, and managing residential income properties from single family houses to large multiple unit properties. I've been extremely successful in my pursuits. Together, with my partners, I've owned over 900 rental units located in five states. In fact, I'm not only an active investor, but I've coached numerous students and have had several articles published in investment magazines. Altogether, I have over 30 years experience in this field.
Now, on to the rest of my "career" (boy, I hate that term). When I said my experience was wide-ranging, I wasn't kidding. I've had an RV (trailers and motor homes) business in California, a Chinese restaurant in Utah, two pay day loan stores in Utah, and a Financial Fitness Center franchise in Colorado. My book business lasted 13 years. GMAC and a 3 year stint with J C Penny's running the men's side were what encouraged me to do things my own way.
As you can see, I've always been searching for something to be passionate about and I've played my hand at what I know best, entrepreneurism, and taking risks when I knew the investment was worth it.
Now I am passionate about Online Marketing and Direct Marketing. In the internet/computer age one can't exist without the other. The time to act is now, Right Now! There is such an amazing, game-changing shift going on in the marketing world. It's changing the way everyone does business. Everywhere I look, I see Twitter and Facebook pages, online advertising, company blogs, etc., and I want in on the action. So here I am, an Online Entrepreneur Extraordinaire, and I'm ready to show others how to be one too.
