Raingod is a 33 year old guy from Cochin, KL, India

I am in a dilemma. During a moment of insanity compounded by a couple of beers when I was downloading Stumble, I somehow got stuck with this nickname...sigh...now I have no way to change it...Bear with me folks for I am not the megalomaniac...winky...that my nickname would suggest me to be... Peace

Great bodies, but they who use steroids play with fire. A calculated risk, but at least for these guys it seems to be paying off in terms of money; they can afford to take care of their ill future.

Very good freehand workout routine for someone without gym access or people who don't have the time to go to the gym. Works the entire body and keeps you in shape and strong, but if you really need to slab on the muscles you need to lift good weight and add to that weight consistently for consistent mass gain.

I found her at last; my tiny little doll-like girl with her limpid dark fawn-like eyes, bewitching me, making my heart ache every time I lose myself in their lovely depths, wondering with wonder at this quicksand of love - I am pulled deeper, I shudder with desire as I feel the throbbing pull of mysterious expressions that flit through those beautiful eyes when she looks at me. The smile trembling on those tremulous lips begs me to feel them with my lips; taste her soul, her heart, her love and return them a hundredfold through mine own lips.

I take great joy in working out and attempting to build a strong, and if possible, shapely body, though never really cared for a six-pack abdomen and still don't. My concentration has always been on my arms, shoulders, chest, laterals, back, and thighs. I've been reasonably successful in my endeavour, but still have a long way to go to reach the ideal I've set for myself. I don't take steroids, as I do wish to live a reasonably healthy life. I don't take dietary protein supplements since I believe in natural bodybuilding, and it is my belief, and of many others, that these breed dependence and make the body lazy as once our body gets used to absorbing readymade protein the easy way, it slowly starts losing interest in extracting the needed protein from other food sources the hard way. So, in the long run, the body in fact suffers rather than benefit from such supplements. I do take multivitamins though.

Lately I've plateaued with no apparent gain over a period of several months. My biceps are stuck at 18 inches, my weight not breaking the 100 kg barrier despite a rigorous regime and dietary intake, and I am at my wits end on what to do.

I've read that human insulin can work miracles with regard to muscle gain and subsequent research on the net has shown me that human insulin manufactured through the recombinant DNA approach is as safe as natural insulin, and thus am willing myself to go the route. I take the first step today and am going to inject myself after the day's workout. Let us see how things work out; hopefully, for the better.

India is a land of peace, it is the land of Mahatma Gandhi who compelled the British to leave India not through the use of arms, but through peace and the philosophy of ahimsa (nonviolence). Ours is a multicultural society with people of multiple religious identities coexisting peacefully. Leaders with charisma and commanding stature such as our President Dr. Abdul Kalam lead us towards a vibrant future. My country too has been a victim of terrorism for decades now. Thousands of innocent men, women and children have been mercilessly killed by terrorists here in India, and most of these terrorists are infiltrators from across the border who attempt to mislead and brainwash impressionable youth from the minority community, mostly unsuccessfully, and their actions, contrary to their expectations, unify rather than divide us.

Terrorism is an act of cowardice perpetrated by people who pervert religion to suit their end. We believe in tough action with no quarter ever given to these perverted manifestations of humanity. Likewise, there should be no room for a witchhunt, as seems to be happening right now in Australia with regards to the detention and treatment meted out to Dr. Mohammed Haneef on flimsy made-up charges that run contrary to established rule of law.

Ostriches and many people, including perhaps this particular climatologist, have a certain thing in common. They would rather bury their heads in the proverbial sand than face up to reality. OR maybe they are paid good money to write these articles by interested parties such as the petroleum lobby etc. Time will tell...

Global weather change is a reality, but it usually takes place slowly over thousands of years with cold ages alternating with temperate ones. What man is doing is accelerating this process a thousand fold...and in the direction of heat as opposed to cold. What would occur over tens of thousands of years naturally, will occur in a matter of centuries thanks to man and his polluting ways, and we are witnessing the birthing throes of this change. Greenhouse gas emission under natural conditions is something that the earth can handle, but the astouding rate at which these gases are being released now into the atmosphere coupled with rapid deforestation is unsettling our planet's natural balance.

Except for a few ostriches, most of us realize that we ultimately are responsible for the crisis that is about to engulf humanity, and perhaps threatens the very existence of intelligent life on our planet.

Let there be hope for all AND hopefully fewer people prone to the ostrich syndrome.

Many thanks to Umruppala for the link.

An interesting, erudite, and thought-provoking article that is bound to ignite strong, if not flaming, reactions from different cross sections of society. The beauty of Wikipedia lies in its diversity; the amalgamation of different thoughts and ideas that assimilate sometimes haphazardly, but almost always coherently and impartially, to create an entity that makes sense to most readers. Collectivism like individualism has its pitfalls, especially with regard to subjects where almost always individual perception varies according to nationality, ethnicity, religion, education etc. etc. When ideas on these subjects combine they produce a pot pourri, the likes of which our taste buds are incapable of handling, such is its diversity.

Jaron Lanier may want to forget the fact that he once made a film. He would like to represent his current reality to the world without having the past touch it negatively, and to be honest, anonymous collectivism has no right to categorize an individual without being held accountable, especially when these thoughts are widely read and presumed to be the truth by many. This article raises many serious questions that need to be addressed to ensure that the Wikipedia we trust and rely upon now does not collapse in on itself over the long run.
