Interesting that you have to go back severeal hundred years to quote what the Christian Church did in the Crusades "Dirk111", although they did so out of defiance to Jesus' teachings to love your enemy and do good to those who spitefully use you. I need only go to 1992 to give a laundry list of things done in the name of Islam and supported by mosques around the world and by some countries. It may be the minority of muslims commiting these evil atrocities, but it is the vast MAJORITY of muslims that remain silent when they do happen, even to their own countrymen! Sorry, complacency with this kind of evil is inexcusable. Islam has 109 verses that are called the war verses that are violent and, many of these call for the believer (any muslim) to kill the infidel (anyone who doesnt believe in Islam) if they refuse to convert! By the way, Boorz forgot to mention the reporters that were "converted" by gun point!!! Where was the out rage by the religious leaders??? NONE!!! When there were abortion clinic bombings and murders the Christian community enmass denounced it, were outraged by it, and were angered by those who would dare to represent God in the act of such violence! Islam has no such claim!!! Based on the action of muslims and the inaction and silence of muslims, i can say without doubt that Islam is an evil born of mans need for violent control of other men and societies. Islam is a cult of the most dangerous kind. It must be met on the battlefield and destroyed, and it must be met in the public square and debated into shame vehemently. Norman Swartzkopf said it is the mission of every muslim to die for their god, and it is the duty of our military to help them achieve that mission!
It is time that we stopped with the Political Correctness!!! And began saying what needs to be said and not care if they (muslims) are offended.
It is time to speak the truth!!!
