A recent presentation by Gerry McGovern on improving the value of corporate Intranets. He showed some insights into his process for prioritizing requirements - aligning management's priorities with those of regular users.

The Cluetrain Manifesto, written in 1999, is still eerily relevant. The original 95 theses are echoed within analyst reports even today.

This information is particularly relevant to large organizations hoping to avert an HR crisis of epic proportions. With boomers set to retire over the next four years, how will organizations adapt to the significant loss of tacit knowledge? Social networking - the "conversations" discussed in cluetrain - hold some promise of closing the information gap and better bridging new employees.
