- "The painting is of a place by Wood Lake in the Okanagan Valley. There is a road on the other side of the lake from the highway with many orchards and I painted it because of the building with that big tree infront of it. I just liked the setting and the fall colours. I don't know if the building is there any more. I haven't been there for a while.
