This is about Asian Africans with a great set of comments that I think can be generalized to most migrant communities. They show that there isn't a single "right answer" to the entangled questions of race, nationality, migration, tradition and community. Most of the posters are "right" in a way and in the end it seems to come down to general fairness.

This is a great lead article about the possibilities of "retrocausality" i.e. the future affecting the past, or what it's originator John Cramer calls a "Quantum Handshake". I would also highly recommend John Gribbin's book "Schrödinger's Kittens and the Search for Reality" that introduced me to the idea.
What's happened now is that Cramer has devised a clever experiment to test it.

This is a fascinating site that I first discovered in 1996.

Here's another example of Greenpeace ignoring the truth to play agit-prop type politics. They've been doing this for some time and have put themselves firmly on the fringe, which is a shame, because we need active TRUTHFULL (=credible) environmental organisations to publicise real problems like global warming.

A good article by Jaron Lanier on the individual vs. the collective in Web 2.0. He highlights some existing/potential problems.
