Disaster in the Making
The control of the people of the U.S., economically and socially, is the goal of the cap-and-trade bill. While the press was absorbed with Tiger Woods' social life, the EPA declared that the U.S. government would, for our health of course, regulate greenhouse gases (read carbon dioxide).
Carbon dioxide is a fertilizer! Without it, no plant could grow and hence no animal could live. The earth would be barren. Of the five greenhouse gases, the major one is water vapor. That fact is never reported. Why? Can we assume that water vapor is now hazardous to our health?
A total of 71 percent of the earth's surface is covered by seawater, and the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is in equilibrium with the trillions of tons of carbonate (CO3)-2 radical in the oceans. Reducing the output of carbon gases from combustion will not substantially affect the amount of CO2 nor the temperature of the atmosphere for this reason. Ignored is the tremendous amount of CO2 produced by decaying vegetable matter, including plankton and seaweed.
The earth's climate is controlled by the sun, as shown by its sunspots. The sun has not had any sunspots for the last three years, and the earth is presently in a cooling mode, regardless of what Al Gore says.
Nonscientist lawyers Obama, Biden, Clinton, Gore and Hagan know nothing about reality, nor the difference between enthalpy and entropy, heat and temperature. Heaven help us. I have been a chemical engineer all of my life, and the cap-and-trade bill as law will be one of the greatest disasters in the history of the United States.
