I think most of the people here would be very surprised in how much quality food you can get from the bins of a supermarket.
First, food is not always out of date, supermarkets throw food away because one egg in a box broke but the rest are fine, because there is no enough room in the shelves or because there is a new package of a product (crisps with the football world cup logo or anything silly like that).
I've been getting food from the bins of Marks and Spencer or Tesco every week for the last 2 years. The amount of food that a supermarket throws everyday it's a disgrace. At the beginning I was a bit embarrassed of doing it, now it embarrass me to buy food and help this system continue.
