hopeful hearts beating in pain
both at the same time
frozen moments
under evergreen trees
embody the winter
cry through the night
forsaken and broken
clinging to life
come rising sun's morning
snow drifting in banks
blossoming glaciers
anticipate life
Spring to release them
to flow through the soil
to conquer the lonesome
love avails all
a life giving freedom
returns warmth to its roots
once all that is breathing
growing and true
bursts with emotion
beaconing light
smiles introducing
joy's cozy first night
