About Megan

I am a college student and history major at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe who is a well grounded reality based intellectual and tries to make sense of this strange world in every way she can. I consider myself a progressive Roman Catholic (although I won't try to shove religion down people's throats unless they happen to be Catholic Republicans, Fundamentalist, and other religious hypocrites), a young feminist who does not feel ashamed to wear high heels, a political liberal who is not afraid to dabble in Socialism, and an American patriot (yet not the flag waving fervor type) but I am also a non conformist who can make up her mind for herself.

Although I have the town of West Newton listed, I do not live there but I posted it because it is termed city on my permanent address (for now), it is the closest place where I live, and the fact I go to church there (Holy Family Catholic Church, which has a great many old people, bad cantors, and led by priests who are about to retire). Not to mention, despite the fact that there is an elementary school there, I did not go to it (I went to one in a part of Ruffsdale that is nearby called Mendon). Anyway, I tend to live in the Western Pennsylvania countryside which is the middle of nowhere as I know it. Before I went to Saint Vincent College (home of the Bearcats but is also part of a complex that consists of an archabbey, basilica parish, and seminary), I went to Yough High School in Herminie (home of the Cougars and Cougar Mountain with the colors of Green, Silver, White, and Orange) and excelled greatly there despite being termed as a bitch.
