Colbert shows how, in one of his bids for becoming president, Mitt Romney shows a segment of video where President Obama is repeating one of the many terrible things that McCain actually said, and Romney has edited the video to make we the people think that the quote is actually Obama's words. In fact, as Colbert shows, when the video is displayed in its entirety, unedited, Obama is clearly seen to have been speaking out against McCain's destructive sentiment.
