F-Secure Health Check - Free Online Technology

Some differences I have noticed
1) Secunia Software inspector uses Java applets but Healthcheck users Activex, obviously this means the former works for almost all browsers while the later works (currently) on IE 6 and 7 only.
2) Healthcheck also requires administrative rights.
3) Healthcheck *seems* to check slightly larger range of apps compared to Secunia Software inspector but far less than Secunia Personal Software Inspector (this one requires a local application install on your machine). It's unclear though whether Secunia or FSecure (an antivirus company) updates their vulnerability database faster.
4)Also unclear is whether F-Secure Healthcheck alerts for vulnerabilities that have currently no patch available like Secunia. My guess is yes.
5)F-secure healthcheck also checks for the existence of common firewalls, antivirus, antispyware, whether they are updated etc. Kind of like windows security center, but this is probably the least useful feature of all.
