The National Human Trafficking Resource Center estimates it’s a $32 billion industry, with about 50% of this revenue coming from industrialized countries. This surpasses the sale of illegal arms.
"Mohammed El Ouafa, used a humiliating language with a 12-year old female student, when he told her that she was not supposed to be in school and that she should get married. “What are you doing here? You should be married,” the Minister told the teenage schoolgirl.
This blunder caused a stir among the students’ parents, who expressed their condemnation of the way the Minister offended a young student.
The father of the school girl considered this as offensive not only to his daughter, but to all students, demanding an apology from the Prime Minister, Abdelilah Benkirane.
In a statement to the daily Assabah, the school girl said that the Minister’s humiliating statement “shocked her and put her in an embarrassing situation regarding her classmates, especially after everybody in school learned about what happened.”"
âoeI think itâs weird that Iâm being targeted for playing online games,â she said in a statement. âoeApparently Iâm in good company since there are 183 million other Americans who also enjoy online games. Whatâs next? Will I be ostracized for playing Angry Birds or Words with Friends? If so, guilty as charged!â

Wow, Shadrack McGill just doesn't get it. The problem isn't the wording it's the anti-woman unnecessary medical procedure designed to shame women and increase the expense of abortion. ""It was a blow to our efforts," McGill said, "but this year I don't know exactly what our approach will be." He said he thinks the ultrasound bill sponsored by Sen. Clay Scofield, R-Guntersville, has been improved. "I think they've done some changing to the terminology that made it a lot better.""
This photo was taken at a women's clinic in Alabama. The photo shows (so called) "pro-life" protesters across the street from the clinic. They don't seem to be doing much, chatting among themselves. But notice something. See that camcorder on a tripod just to the right of the crucifixion picture? That camera is video recording every single car that enters and exits the clinic gates. Why do they do that? They are recording license plate numbers.
Do you have any idea how much personal information can be gleaned from a license plate number? Names, addresses. From there you can find out things like phone numbers, employers and all kinds of other personal information.
So why do they want this information and what do they do with it?
Call your house at 3AM, say "Baby killer!" and immediately hang up.
Go to your house and hang pictures of "fetuses" on your fence, spray it with fake blood and put "Murderer" on the sign for all of your neighbors to see.
State officials say they have to do what's in the best interest of the child, but the state does have a financial incentive to remove the children. The state receives thousands of dollars from the federal government for every child it takes from a family, and in some cases the state gets even more money if the child is Native American. The result is that South Dakota is now removing children at a rate higher than the vast majority of other states in the country.
Jurisdictional conflicts make it difficult to arrest and prosecute non-Natives for crimes committed against Natives. Complications with investigations and court proceedings involving sexual assault and domestic violence cases further decrease likelihood of prosecutions.
“It’s almost like non-Native people have a license to brutalize Native women,” says Tina Olson, co-director of Mending the Sacred Hoop in Duluth, Minnesota. According to its website, the group works “to end violence against Native women and children while restoring the safety, sovereignty, and sacredness of Native women.”

Blog of the clinic escorts in Louisville KY.
I don't think I will ever understand how women can be so cruel to rape victims.
It's something Rae has put her sweat and blood into. But, she says it's more than worth it knowing how far a pair shoes can take a child.
"Every dollar that gets donated - a kid will get a pair of shoes," Heim said.
In one especially horrific case, Worthy says, a convicted rapist named Shelly Andre Brooks had raped and murdered five women after raping a woman whose kit was just recently entered into the database through Worthy's initiative. If that rape kit had been tested and entered into the database sooner, the man could have been caught sooner-and five women's lives could have been saved. "That's why it's so horrible, this whole thing," she says.
"Operation Save America has promised to bring masses of people out to the clinics to harass and intimidate women as they enter during the week of the Democratic National Convention. Furthermore, OSA’s leader Flip Benham was recently granted a new trail from his 2011 conviction of stalking a Charlotte area abortion provider. This might mean an even bigger zoo outside of the clinic now that he is able to excite his base.
From the article “It’s an awful game that they are forced to play,” says Harden. No matter how “obedient” a girl has been, no matter how many days or weeks she quietly suffers sexualized abuse in an attempt to survive and please the guards—it is the rape survivor who is punished."
“We didn’t want to work within any organization where any religion was controlling our practice,” said Dr. Rachel Busse, part of a three-person team that runs Highlands Family Medicine in Mid City Mall. “Anything that limits (birth control), even on the philosophical level, is difficult for us.”
Barnes went on to biblically claim that, "If God has chosen to bless this person [the rape victim] with a life, you don’t kill it."
Barnes did not elaborate on her views for post-pregnancy care, or costs.

2012 will mark the 100 year anniversary of the San Diego Free Speech Fight when workers from the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW) along with allies from the rest of labor and the community at large defied a city ordinance designed to prevent them from standing on a soapbox at the corner of 5th and E in downtown San Diego and speaking.
