After dreamily staring at the long locks of gorge celebs and rockin' local makeup artists, I decided to take the plunge and get permanent hair extensions... and dye my hair RED. The transition from white platinum blonde to red was a bit of a shock and hard to process in my brain for a few weeks. But, I did it and I am extremely pleased! I have never received so many compliments in my life about my hair.. uhhh..and yes, I do admit to people that it isn't real and that they can have the same hair that I am workin' right now.

Fashion week is a great and lovely event, but as I always say.. I am NOT ready to see this stuff yet. The wacky and creative looks for next year might shock you (As one of the new MAC collections did!) because of the very liberal use of color.. lots of colors...everywhere. My first stop was at Planet Beauty in San Jose, where my lovely hair magician, Alli, showed me the awesome No! No! Hair Removal Gadget and the Hot Tools Pink Titanium 1 1/2 inch curling iron. I happened to stumble across the new Ardell Brush On Lash Glue, which might be interesting, (it got a bad review on Amazon.com) we will have to see!
