The only part I can pick out as noticeably CG is the beard and to a lesser degree the hair. Most CG I've seen avoids doing beards at all because they're so hard to get just right. The armor has that typical "too perfect" look to it.

Hawking bets collider wont work

They should have noted that Hawking has a bit of a history of betting on scientific developments when they involve research he's done. I lean towards agreeing with Hawking, although I'm not willing to place money on it. My guess is they'll eventually get it working, time-space traveling paradox conspiracy theories to the contrary, but they won't find the Higgs. Rather, they'll probably either find something they weren't expecting, or nothing at all.
