It's a little over done for my tastes, but I could definately see a smaller set with a wide viewing angle mounted like this. It would take some getting used to, I suppose.

Totally doable. All of the scent is removed by the bacteria. It's the same concept with traditional, non-human based compost-- if it stinks, it's not compost.
It would be even cooler if this water went up to the roof, where crops are being grown and rain water being harvested. :D

These don't even look real to me. I've only been in three libraries I can remember, and suffice it to say that my local library is two rooms and one story.

Interesting to look at if you're into architecture gazing, but ugly as hell. I like the usage of light, but that's it. Also, is it just me or are those bookmark tools that follow your every move annoying? Personal thumbs down.

This would be a great way to reduce food transportation costs in urban areas. It's an interesting idea that would be much more interesting if it had been successfully implemented at some point. One shouldn't need a super fancy building-- how about an old abandoned brick building? You don't need climate control for most crops, just a way to funnel rain water from the roof through the multiple levels of plants, and lots of florescent lights.
I see lots of potential pitfalls already involving carbon consumption and pollutants. I think it could be done, but very carefully, with an honest assessment of pros and cons.
I think a country lifestyle combined with NO or few children is much preferable to any of this.
