I've always been disturbed by the implications of photography having evolved through the usage of gelatin, an animal by-product, and its implications for vegetarians. Maybe we shouldn't let our photographs be taken in protest XD

I wonder how the artist gets these images? She must have a very specific setup to get such clear, detailed images of irises.
