Delicious recreates the golden age of Burlesque, the glamour, the sequins, tassels and fans, the oooh's and the aahh's! From Gipsy Rose Lee and pin-up Bettie Page, to the modern day burlesque queens Immodesty Blaize and Dita Von Teese, this beautiful and intriguing art-form has entertained and thrilled audiences for hundreds of years, inspiring timeless looks, styles and fashions.
The evening stage-shows feature a mixture of both spectacular aerial and ground based performances from some of the worldâ,s top performers, including Natsumi Scarlett and Kittie Klaw, but thatâ,s not all. There's a competition for newcomers, burlesque skills workshops and tuition for both beginners and the more experienced and the biggest burlesque market ever, with 50 traders tempting you with glamorous clothing and accessories. Jive, Swing and Rockabilly music from "The Boners" & DJ Mikey Wong will be all you need to party the night away, dressed to thrill!
There is something for everyone at Delicious, whether you're an experienced performer, a lifelong fan, or just plain curious, so prepare yourself for a roller-coaster ride through the rich tapestry of performance-art that is Burlesque..... Delicious just doesn't begin to describe what's in store!
