A report out of Washington from Yahoo News quotes White House Spokesman Scott Stanzel as saying, "They've launched over 300 investigations, had over 350 requests for documents and interviews and they have had over 600 oversight hearings in just about 100 days." Talk about overkill.

Georgia's tough anti-illegal immigration laws kick in July 1, requiring public employers with 500 or more employees -- and any contractors -- to verify that all new hires are in the country lawfully. The state also checks to make sure that anyone over age 18 who is receiving benefits is in the country legally.
