What the hell happened?

Okay, so I was working 100% remotely for a company in PA. For six years. Then I got laid off, took my 7 month old son and travel writer wife with me to Asia to lick my wounds -- no screw that -- to eat spicy thai food, get a tattoo, try out muy-thai boxing, get some weird fish to eat my feet (don't ask) and maybe sample some of the fresh scorpion -- oh and whatever other adventures I can dream up.

I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm an animator by degree, a graphic designer by trade and now, for what it's worth, a world-traveling new dad with a serious jones for something new.
