Sam is a 50 year old guy from Alturas, California, USA

My feelings about pedophilia and child pornography are expressed at http://www.crstudent.com/School/Preteen.htm

I try to make sense of a world full of nonsense every day.

I replaced my self-portrait with a manipulation of a picture taken of me for my Photoshop class this semester.

In predicting this he said, "This I mention not to assert when the time of the end shall be, but to put a stop to the rash conjectures of fanciful men who are frequently predicting the time of the end, and by doing so bring the sacred prophesies into discredit as often as their predictions fail."[60]'

A prior review: "No mainline Christian group (Catholic or Protestant,) consider the JWs Christians."

Rebuttal: No group or sect that calls itself Christian, mainline or otherwise, considers any other group to be as christian as they are. After all, if you don't consider your group more christian than any other, what business do you have being a separate group? As long as you presume to hold the opinion that your group is more christian than another, unless you're just a rampaging bigot you must allow other groups the right to the same presumption. (Note that when I spell "christian" uncapitalized, I am using the word as an adjective, rather than the name of a religion.)

Jehovah's Witnesses are the only Christian group that consistently asserts that the Father has the right to be called by His name, rather than by the name of the Son. That isn't to say that others will never call Him by name, but it's such a rarity that when they do, people are flabbergasted, make recordings of it, and post news of it on the web, such as this article about Pat Robertson: rightwingwatch.org/2006/11/robertson_says.html [rightwingwatch.org/2006/11/robertson_says.html]

The two excuses, usually given in the same breath, for not calling Jehovah by His name are:
    1. We don't know the original pronunciation of God's name.
    2. God's name is Jesus.
Meanwhile, the same people know very well that "Jesus" isn't the original pronunciation of Yeshua's name either, but they're quite satisfied to use the Anglicized version of the German transliteration of the Latin translation of the Greek version of the Hebrew name Yeshua every day.

People calling themselves Christian throw these contradictory excuses at Jehovah's Witnesses every day, because Jehovah's Witnesses are going to their doors every day, begging them to acknowledge God for who He is. If only all who call themselves Christian would acknowledge Jehovah, there would be no need for one group to be named after Him and continually reminding you who He is.

If you don't want to call the Father by His name, don't tell Jehovah's Witnesses your excuses, because you don't answer to Jehovah's Witnesses. They aren't there to judge you, because you answer to God Himself. See if He'll listen to your excuses. Call yourself Christian, and ask Him if He believes you. No opinion other than His matters.

This beautiful old building was once the town hospital. In 1986 a new hospital was to be built on the site and the old building was to be demolished. The Jehovah Witness group were given the building provided they rebuilt it. It was removed in one weekend, and then rebuilt to the present immaculate state."

This is one of many of Christendom's sects that gets upset when Islam calls Jesus a Muslim, but look at how many people who died before Catholicism was founded, who have been "adopted" and declared Catholic Popes!  We need to cast first the beam out of our own eye; and then shalt we see clearly to take out the mote from our brother's eye. - Luke 6:42

The first 30 or so "popes" never even heard of the trinity doctrine, much less agreed with it.

If you don't believe me, try arguing with; say, an atheist, for a while, saying God is real in reply to his assertions that God is imaginary. Then, once the argument gets into a rut, change sides, and say that God is imaginary.

Just watch and see if he doesn't change sides too."

From the page: "Perhaps to placate their own sensibilities, but more usually to maintain the semblance of a devoted faith, the apostate must of necessity attempt to convince others that their motives for disaffection were sound and that their new credo is scriptural. Yet, in doing so they must conspicuously evade the clear Biblical injunctions against dissent and contrary expository views. (compare Romans 16:17; 1 Timothy 1:3) Paradoxically, in attempting to establish themselves as providers of spiritual edification, an apostate is forced to break the very commands that a Christian is sworn to keep - commands that their former brethren still keep."

These operations often required using my own bone for grafting. I noticed that the plastic surgeon would keep going back to the right side of my ribcage, through the same horizontal scar, actually, to get more bone for these procedures. One day, I asked him why he hadn't `run out of bone'. He looked at me blankly, and then explained that he and his team took the whole rib out, each time. `We leave the periosteum intact, so the rib usually just grows right back again'."
