Article on Rachel Carson, possibly the first person to alert the world about the dangers of abusing the environment. I find it astonishing and incomprehensible that this issue has been know about for so long (the book was first serialised in 1962), from Rachel's book and so many other activists, yet leaders have not acted on that knowledge.

Coco Chanel, one of the people chosen for the 'My Hero' website. I do like websites that help us be inspired rather than discouraged.
