It's time for all intrusive, damaging products (technological or otherwise) to become illegal. Make it against the law to make or distribute such things. This list of illegal products would include land mines, spy devices, and any software which is designed to intrude on privacy. Because there could be NO ethical use for such things at all, either in theory or in practice.
Nobody should be free to prey upon anybody else. The new era of "ethical capitalism" is trying to start but not getting any help from the top. -
