About Charlie

Charlie

CharlieSeymourJr

Man from Havertown, PA, USA

Little did he know at the age of six in his first theatrical production that his business life would lead him to help professionals and executives create their own legends in video and print.

His directing, producing, writing, lighting, and marketing experiences through theater combine with his award-winning photography and videography skills to create stories that jump from printed pages and computer screens. And his work on Music Videos sharpened his on-location story telling.

Even at an early age, Charlie was creating stories for people. He received his first camera (Brownie, if you remember them!) at age four and went on to become a professional photographer. He began his video career at age 11 at the side of Robert J. Kerr, the Dupont scientist (and community theater director) who was a leading specialist in the creation of video tape at a time when a "home machine" weighed 37 pounds and you had to wind the tape from reel to reel.

Charlie directed his first three-act play in 7th grade. He performed in at least one theater production a year through college years and went onto a career in theater directing and managing. And he wrote and directed The Hunchback of Notre Dame with New York composer, Neil Radisch. He started his own Video Business in 2000.

Now a Best Selling Author, speaker, and video master, Charlie specializes in the art of business and has really had fun since receiving his MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and BA from Tufts University.

He sold $247,368,657.97 in personal real estate sales and more than $1 Billion through his marketing leadership skills; ran professional theaters in Princeton, NJ and St. Louis, MO; operated his own photography/video production company; consulted about (and uses) Web 2.0 technology (especially video production, blogging, podcasting, Facebook, Wordpress, and Twitter); directed musical theater (in his "spare" time); and now runs PersonalSuccess Marketing with his business partner, Dr. Marc Kossmann.

Charlie is also an Advisor for ParentalWisdom.com, helps the youth of his church in annual work-camp trips, and photographs each production at two local theaters.

At the heart of all of this Charlie has always known he's a marketer and story teller. His passion is to tell the story and make the sale, whether it is helping professionals explode their success in their businesses, getting theater productions produced at several theaters, selling major real estate along the East Coast of the United States, or running his own online businesses. And hand-in-hand with his business skills is his love for people, helping them succeed while focusing attention on them when they do.

Charlie recently studied the buying habits of Baby Boomers and uses one phrase to describe many of his generation: "We've gone from Success To Significance in what drives us. We have the things and now want to be sure to leave our mark ON the world (and on at least one other person IN this world). We need to get our stories out, to profit others and ourselves." He embodies that.

Charlie is the father of two beautiful, talented, and grown daughters (Stacie and Liz) and a son-in-law (Chris) who enrich his life in everything they do. He lives outside of Philadelphia in Wallingford, PA USA with his wife, Pam, two cats, a dog, 7 computers, and 8 cameras!
