Carolyn is a woman from California, USA
I'm a freelance food-wine-travel writer who spent most of my career as a newspaper journalist until I got laid off earlier this year. (Definitely not a good time to be working for a newspaper these days.) I started my blog, www.FoodGal.com, just for fun, but have been amazed by how much I've learned from it and all the great people I've met as a result. I admit I've always been a foodie _ I can't help myself. And I look forward to this new chapter in my life and all the possibilities it holds.
