I wanted to test the power of Twitter for ranking on unique keyphrases... how easy would it be to get top 10 rankings for unique non-competitive phrases, and how quickly? I was curious about this because I've seen so many social media sites come up in the top 10 or top 20 for various keywords, whether in the socia media profile's name, or even in just text content.

I also wanted to test the power of tinyurl's custom alias urls for ranking.

In a landmark deal today, Google furthered their goal of organizing the world's information by acquiring the United States Central Intelligence Agency.

I don't really want to write this, but for this new blog to be googleable, it needs more than one page! So this is the second post, the second page, and represents a big step you can take to being more findable.

Online, you need a footprint. You need multiple sites and blogs, and each of those must have valuable content on it.

A friend mentioned she searched her name in Google- she'd done it before, but another woman had the exact same name, even middle name as her, so she was completely un-Google-able.

But now she said Google had figure out she existed as a separate person- she's finally Googleable.
