Fields of Joy
two photographers * one camera * one weekend * a thousand people
I'm a big fan of all of Gordon Ramsey's shows, Kitchen Nightmares, The F-word, Hell's Kitchen..why do I have such a thing for this man who some would say resembles a sharpei? He's blunt and brash and foul-mouthed and sarcastic - oh, you thought those were the negatives? :) Nope. He's also funny and he can cook. So there ya go.
pretty cool little vid for an awesome song.. Nina Simone - Feeling Good
Tracy works in the field of microscopy and scientific imaging as a photomicrographer at the University of Minnesota's College of Biological Sciences. Check out his impressive Flickr portfolio. Not to be missed: the amazing shots in his 'zoomified' set. A few examples...
salt and pepper
thanks for letting me post these here, Tracy!
very cool recycled glass jewelry!
We cast away priceless time in dreams, born of imagination, fed upon illusion, and put to death by reality. - Judy Garland
I love Judy Garland for her voice and her vulnerability. She also bore a slight resemblance to my grandmother, actually...another very awesome lady :)
All we ever got was cold
Get up, eat jelly
Sandwich bars, and barbed wire
Squash every week into a day
The sound of drums is calling
The sound of the drum has called
Flash of youth shoot out of darkness
Oh to be the cream

New Years Eve in Times Square by Amit Gupta
I've done the times square/new years eve thing once and I can say it was memorable but not for very good reasons.. after waiting 4 hours in freezing weather I broke down and bought a pair of ear muffs from a street vendor..the only ones he had: huge, white and furry - then at the stroke of midnight I got hit square in the middle of my forehead with the cork from a magnum bottle of champagne and blinded by the stream from the bottle..and yet, seeing the tons of confetti (out of my one good eye) raining down almost made it all worth it. Okay, not really, but it is pretty :)
great song - and the vid is one of the sweetest things I've seen, love it!
new work by artur duda
oh heehee haha it's all fun and games until you crack your infant's skull on the ceiling.. idiots.
I pretty much despise christmas music, with a few exceptions..like this: Fairytale of New York by the Pogues featuring Kirsty MacColl. It's sad, bittersweet..just like the holidays at times :) Check out the video with a cameo by Matt Dillon as the nypd - ahhh, memories of 80's crushes... :P
nice work by Adri Berger
nice Audrey site!
one of the best scenes in Funny Face
