In 1994, I was featured in Smart Computing Magazine and featured again in 2000, in PC Novice Magazine, for success in my home-based business, as well as for successfully helping others start their home-based businesses. I was fed up with corporate America. After being laid off from two jobs because of company downsizing, I decided enough was enough.
My story is a home business success story, but I'm not alone. According to LINK Resources Corp., a research and consulting firm in New York, in 1994, more than 3.1 million people started home-based businesses. As of 2005, as many as 150 million people, in North America alone, enjoy the freedom and benefits of owning their own Internet business. According to the Small Business Administration's Office of Advocacy, the number of U.S. households that have a home-based business currently exceeds 12%!
For me, a married mom of two children, internet marketing delivered what other companies couldn't - a full-time income working from home. After trying numerous home-based businesses, I almost gave up and was considering working outside the home again, when I discovered internet marketing. After researching everything I could find on the internet, I knew it was the best home-based opportunity I had ever seen. I rolled up my sleeves and started working hard the next day, and for my efforts, I am now making a full-time income and I am enjoying spending time with my children, now grown, and grandchildren.
Internet marketing is perfect for men or women looking for a business where you don't have to sell, but that are comfortable on the internet and comfortable on the phone. Anyone can do this! My goal is to help others, so that they, too, may turn their lives around and make their own dreams come true!
Working from home has been an absolute blessing for me and my family. It's taught me how to work smarter, rather than work harder. It's helping me make more money, and at the same time create more time to enjoy it. It provides me with an opportunity to meet people just like me, and help them create the life and lifestyle they dream about.
