Although the information is very interesting, there are no sources quoted. The running counters are obviously based on larger figures (e.g., expenditure for a year, quarter or month that are simply divided by the number of seconds giving an expanding result over time) that may be actual stats or may be hypothetical or worse fictional. It's easy to be horrified, but like any scary movie based on mood, music and special effects, it's ultimately pointless albeit exciting.
