As great as this software is, and believe me, it looks and sounds incredible, I really fear for what will come of this new technology.
Imagine the already bloated amount of talentless "musicians" recording rubbish for MySpace Music or the next Disney/MTV/'Other monopolistic music industry giant's pop star(s)' that can't play music, but can just post-produce it and fix everything wrong with their music just for a buck.
Think Ashlee Simpson: She can't really sing, but to the greedy Hollywood + Music Industry, she's got the looks and attitude to bring in the dough, regardless of talent.
The already flooded airwaves will soon be drowning.
Let's try not to forget what music is/was before this bites us in the ass.

Man I got a big grin on my face when this one popped up. Haven't seen (or heard) this one in so long. I remember when it first exploded as the meme it would soon become know as. Good times. Very nostalgic.
And yes, this version fails compared to the original.

I'm going to try this when I get a $20 soon, but for those of you who automatically give it a 'Thumbs-down' because it seems stupid or unfeasible.
Don't totally toss out the idea of rash Governmental control over it's people en mass. It's entirely possible that it could happen, and possible that it is happening. Until you try it (and yes, you can turn the $20 bill into the bank, they're legally responsible to reimburse your ruined money, no matter which way it happens so long as there is 51% of it left with a readable serial number), don't judge it. I'm not. I'd rather try it and question my government than live blindly unaware of what is going on around us. We're human beings and are entitled to certain unalienable rights, and when a government infringes upon those rights, regardless of reason, that government begs questioning.

Aw man, I loved Surge back in the day. I remember being cranked up on it's caffeiney goodness. I wish they'd bring it back as a 10th Anniversary drink or something. Now I feel sad on the inside..
