Building Community is a woman from UK

Building Community is an online video showcase of projects involved in land and building asset transfer.
Currently presenting the second round of projects, the short videos and blogs document their progress of transferring land and building assets from local authorities to development trusts and community organisations.
These videos and articles demonstrate the challenges faced and successes achieved as the assets are transformed and the community becomes more involved in the newly-improved activities and services provided in their local area.
Building Community is a programme led by the Asset Transfer Unit.

A PUBLIC meeting to discuss the future of a much-loved swimming baths in Birkenhead is to be held this week.
Byrne Avenue Community Trust (BACT) has been negotiating with the local authority since last year, preparing documentation on their plans to re-open the Byrne Avenue baths.

OFFICIALS interested in bringing a former station master's house back into use were told by Network Rail representatives improvements could not be made because of financial constraints.

The building at Thetford train station has been redundant for almost 20 years, and although it has been on the rental market for some years no commercial or community projects have shown an interest.
