On a recent trip to Belgium, my friends and I found these guides far more handy than any of our other guides (including Michelin, Frommers, and Lonely Planet). They are non-commercial, great recommendations for places to eat and see, and even an "act like a local" section. They're free and pocket-sized.
Cannot recommend these guides enough, whether your a "young person" or not.
