Does Diet Soda Really Cause Weight Gain? What Experts Say

"It may be that people switch to diet soda when they begin gaining weight without addressing other aspects of their diet that are causing the weight gain."
Yeah, you think? Maybe someday people will realize how full of shit the news can be when it comes to sensationalistic health studies that defy everything that science and common sense tell us to be true. I love how none of the major news outlets that covered this thought for a moment that people who are prone to get fat are probably more likely to drink a lot of diet soda than people who stay thin easily and that it probably isn't the soda itself that is causing the gain.
I think we should worry less about what's making people fat and work more on what's making everybody so fucking stupid.
