Our military used waterboarding to train our own soldiers, and has for 30 years.
Somehow I missed the story about them talking about being "tortured".
Face it, radical Islamic fundamentalists & group hugs just don't mesh well.

This document should be read for what it says, not what you want it to say. It should especially be read by younger readers, since our public schools sure as hell don't want students to read or understand it. It's a very straightforward document & shows who is REALLY out to destroy rights. Also notice, We are a union of states with a Federal Government, NOT the other way around. And no mention of marriage whatsoever. Feel free to roll up a copy of the Constitution & the Bill of Rights & swat blathering liberals on the nose with it when falsely proclaiming their rights to something never mentioned in our founding documents.

Yeah, all that lower tax nonsense sure didn't work when Reagan brought this country back after the feckless socialist Jim-meh Car-duhhh drove it into the crapper in very short order. Your call for full-blown socialism is a joke. It has never worked. Never. And it's not because "the right" socialist hasn't been in power. It's an ideology of failure, and that will never change. It robs ambition & entrepreneurial drive. It kills incentive, which is the driving force behind what built this country. Generally speaking, those that push for socialism have no idea as to what it takes to achieve success or don't care to try. They merely look for mother government give them what they need at someone elses expense. Yeah, socialism is a grand idea..... if you're one of the elite. The biggest problem with it has always been the problem with it. You eventually run out of other peoples money.

Eeevil G-Dub didn't outlaw embryonic stem cell research, he merely didn't subscribe to using federal funds (that's OUR money, in case you don't know or care) for research. There was no law forbidding private research or studies. Seems that if the success was truly imminent, private sector money would be bunghole deep to a wooden indian to get on board this new, impending bonanza of eeeevil profit. What dear leader (B. Hussein Obammy) did by signing us up to have our money fund embryonic stem cell research is merely a kick in the nuts to those of pro-life and\or conservative values. It doesn't change anything, other than divert researchers & resources from what was a rapidly developing adult stem cell program to something that may work, and may not or may be the same. But it sure made he & his ilk feel warm & fuzzy at someone elses expense. Then again, anything at others expense is his M.O.
