Yeah, all that lower tax nonsense sure didn't work when Reagan brought this country back after the feckless socialist Jim-meh Car-duhhh drove it into the crapper in very short order. Your call for full-blown socialism is a joke. It has never worked. Never. And it's not because "the right" socialist hasn't been in power. It's an ideology of failure, and that will never change. It robs ambition & entrepreneurial drive. It kills incentive, which is the driving force behind what built this country. Generally speaking, those that push for socialism have no idea as to what it takes to achieve success or don't care to try. They merely look for mother government give them what they need at someone elses expense. Yeah, socialism is a grand idea..... if you're one of the elite. The biggest problem with it has always been the problem with it. You eventually run out of other peoples money.
