  • Earth 2012 Aims to Develop Water-Fuelled Car by 2005

Rated Apr 22 2008 1 review cars, science, energy, tranportation, fuel pesn.com

From the page: "UNITED KINGDOM -- Earth 2012, a UK based non-profit organization, has launched a project to develop a water-fuelled car in a commercially viable way.

They claim to have a technology that will produce Hydrogen for fuel by vibrating water molecules at their resonant frequency. In this state the water becomes very unstable and can be broken down into hydrogen and oxygen using only a small amount of energy. The main byproducts of the combustion are water and oxygen. No greenhouse gasses are emitted.

They state that the technology was developed back in the eighties, and has been proven to work, but that an attempt to get this technology on the market was obstructed at that time. "Now, with peaking oil prices, growing concerns over global warming and an intensive search to find alternative energy sources, the time is right to bring out this revolutionary technology."

One of the people involved in the project in the eighties is now involved in the present project. All that is lacking is funding.

Earth 2012 aims to present a prototype at the end of 2005. They have commenced a fund raising campaign to raise £1 million via donations.

The site says, "The water engine will be the ultimate solution to the energy problems the world is facing today. Energy will become available almost for free. Everybody can generate their own electricity once they have invested in a generator that uses this technology."

The project team is dedicated to release this technology into the public domain, without any patents, making it available for all to use. When the full prototype is demonstrated the design will be published, thereby making it impossible for anyone else to claim a patent on this technology. They do not plan to release earlier prototypes for security concerns. Not until the optimized design is achieved will they go public.

Stef Kling, Director of Earth 2012, comments: "Our only motive is to help the world. It is our objective to build a world based on trust and sharing, rather than fear and greed."

Kling has consented to allow Pure Energy Systems to publish the complete plans for this technology in the PES open source format once a refined prototype is attained. "The wider we can get the design out the better," he said.

In addition to releasing the design to the public, Earth 2012 plans to invite a respected institute to reproduce the design. They will also offer their services for car manufacturers to perfect the technology and get it ready for production.

Earth 2012 itself is not involved in the development of the prototype, but manages the fund-raising for the project. Their press release states that £1 million funding is required to start the project.

Earth 2012 has launched a fund raising campaign, asking the general public to make donations via the website earth2012.org [earth2012.org] . Kling said: "We are looking for people and organizations who are willing to make their contribution to create a better world. If only 100,000 people donate £10 this would give us the required £1 million. By funding this project with donations it allows us to put this technology in the public domain. This will greatly speed up the adoption of this technology world-wide."

When asked how they will assure that the funds are going toward a legitimate project and not into a scam, King responded, "The only hard proof one could give is to demonstrate a working prototype. Hence we are in catch 22 as to build the prototype we need funding."

"Fundraising is done through a professional organization (Earth 2012) that is registered and audited. If this was a scam we would be in legal trouble. If we can't show anything by the end of next year we will get slaughtered in the press and my personal credibility and that of Earth 2012 would be ruined forever."

OK, so, do you want to take the empties back to the store, or would you like to drive 3 miles to the can? Here is a guy who took an old science class idea, and is driving on almost free fuel. Add store bought red devil lye and some water to an aluminum beverage can, and you get hydrogen gas:

He's not disconnected the gasoline system quite yet, but he's working on it. Participate in his forums and help him develop this system.

Scientists have made a breakthrough which will allow them to build a car which runs on water.

A British company is on the brink of creating an 'ultra-green' family saloon which could be on the road within a decade.

If it goes into production the car would cost as little as a regular model, thanks to subsidies and grants.

In scenes recalling the film Back To The Future, where a sports car's generator is fed with household scraps, a generator on this car will convert water into power.

Government sources say the technology - developed by Russian scientists who havee set up a UK company called OM Energy - could eventually enable ships to use seawater for fuel.

The breakthrough is the electro hydrogen generator which extracts hydrogen from water by spinning it at high speed.

The hydrogen is then mixed with the petrol supply to create an environmentally friendly 'super fuel' which 'stretches' the unleaded fuel, enabling the car to go further on less. The generator is spun using the engine's recycled exhaust gases.

  • OpEdNews - Article: Browns Gas ("HHO") : Clean, Cheap,...

    Rated Apr 22 2008 1 review science, energy opednews.com

From the page: "There is something of great importance to the world that is being suppressed and hidden from us: That abundant, clean energy can and is being derived from water. Sea water, well water, tap water; good old H2O.

Water can be cheaply disassociated into Brown's Gas / HHO gas (monatomic and diatomic Hydrogen and Oxygen) using efficient electrolyzing techniques which require very little power to operate, or sophistication to build. This is directly contrary to current scientific dogma; which teaches that the creation of useful amounts of Hydrogen requires tens of thousands of watts of power, creating high amounts of heat in the process. This is simply not true: Many people all over the world have home-built working devices that create HHO gas using very little power. The terms "Brown Gas" and "HHO" are used in this article as synonymous, although there is some minor technical debate as to the ratios of monatomic and diatomic gas within each, and "HHO" was once a trade name for Brown's Gas (it has now become a generic term like "kleenex", as is written here for this purpose).

Although the new efficient techniques of disassociating water into H and O have been known about and proven for over 20 years, the University textbooks are still teaching the old, expensive, and energy-inefficient ways of creating Hydrogen. Whenever it is mentioned as a possible substitute for oil in the mainstream science and press; the expense and dangers of creating and storing Hydrogen are used as tempering arguments for not embracing it; and as excuses for not pursuing Hydrogen as a serious alternative to oil. But… These excuses are dead wrong: There is no meaningful expense in creating HHO gas, and there is no need to store it under high pressure as it can be safely created on-site, at low pressure, on demand. Using self-generated HHO to power our vehicles is no more dangerous than using gasoline."

First Coast News introduced you to Kanzius in May. The 62-year-old retired broadcast executive developed a promising cancer treatment in his Florida garage using radio waves to kill cancerous cells.

But something funny happened on the way to his cure for cancer. During his garage experiments Kanzius says he ignited plain old salt water with the same radio wave generator he was using in his cancer treatment.
    --- --- ---
    snip - --
"The skeptics who will agree that it is possible to burn salt water - and there are plenty who won't even go that far - argue that at best the energy required to burn it would be greater than the energy produced by burning it.

Kanzius admits that is the case now in this very early stage of development." - === Just another scam. I saw this on World Net Daily, and i can beleive them as far as i can throw the web page. ANYONE can invent an "energy machine" that uses more energy than it puts out :( Thumbs DOWN

  • GM Sequel will wear a bowtie & Autoblog

Rated Sep 11 2006 1 review cars, science, energy, transportation, technology autoblog.com

    From the page:
"During the 2005 Detroit Auto Show, General Motors unveiled a prototype for a hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle, dubbed the Sequel. At the time, the concept flew under the GM banner, today, the General's vice president of R&D, Larry Burns, announced that the next version will bear the Chevrolet moniker.

The move to badge the fuel-cell vehicle a Chevy is an effort to bring hydrogen power to the masses via its Everyman brand. If GM had decided to place the crossover in one of its luxury divisions, it would give an air of exclusivity that the automaker feels may be detrimental to the future of mass-market fuel-cell vehicles.

The new Sequel is equipped with all-wheel-drive and power is provided by the aforementioned hydrogen fuel-cell system, along with electric motors feeding off of a bank of lithium-ion batteries. Approximately 97 hp will come from the hydrogen fuel cell and 87 hp from the electric motors.

Our friends over at Winding Road have been graciously afforded the first test drive of two fully functional versions of the Chevy Sequel and will be reporting on their experiences in a future issue."
