Fattoria del Colle di Trequanda

In 1592 Donatella Cinelli Colombini's ancestors built Fattoria del Colle in Trequanda. Situated in the Chianti and DOC Orcia regions, the estate has more than 23 hectares of vineyard, cereals, white truffles, olive groves, and a country inn with 19 apartments, a restaurant, and 3 swimming pools.


Casato Prime Donne di Montalcino

At Casato Prime Donne there are 18 hectares of vineyard and the winery for the production and ageing of the Brunello di Montalcino wine. The winemakers are all women: a revolutionary work situation for Italy. In the vineyards around Casato, there is a trail walk where quotations from the winners of the Casato Prime Donne Award and works of art accompany those walking through the vineyards. The surrounding landscape of the Val'd'Orcia has been declared by Unesco an important part of the heritage of humankind.


The Wineries
*Fattoria del Colle di Trequanda

At Fattoria del Colle, we produce Chianti Superiore DOCG, Cenerentola DOC Orcia, two IGT Toscana Rosso, Vin Santo and extra virgin olive oil. The tour through our evocative winery begins with a medieval hermitage, crosses the underground portions of the sixteenth-century villa, then rises up to the loft where the Vin Santo is made. The vinification area has state-of-the-art equipment and offers a spectacular panorama of the Crete Senesi.

*Casato Prime Donne di Montalcino

At Casato Prime Donne we produce Rosso and Brunello di Montalcino. Here the barrels and barriques are set among frescoes showing the history of Montalcino; there is a visual explanation of the origins of its name of the Battle of Montaperti where the inhabitants of Montalcino earned the nickname of Beccamorti.


Osteria di Donatella
Fattoria del Colle di Trequanda

The Osteria di Donatella is situated inside the 16th-century estate. The chef proposes traditional dishes from the Sienese countryside matched with the great red wines from the two wineries. The Osteria has an inside dining room with floral decorations and a veranda with a panoramic view of the vineyards and of the village of Trequanda. The friendly and informal atmosphere and the attention to detail make the Osteria di Donatella an ideal place for dinners for groups or couple, for working lunches, meetings, parties and banquets.
