We had the soundtrack to 'Reality Bites' on CASSETTE back in 1994...my 12 year old self was enamored with these cool pseudo-grownups who chain smoked and danced in gas stations. My sister bought the soundtrack in CD format for .99 cents yesterday....and...while i've been scootin' in my protégé all over the city busting out The Knack and World Party I feel mildly depressed that people my age did not get an equally annoying, self-indulgent, angst-ridden glimpse into our quarter life crises!
Where's my angst!! How will I make it through my 20's? It just doesn't count without a surly musician, a burn out over achiever, a homosexual, and a sarcastic sexually promiscuous questionably frumpy yet oddly alluring best friend!
