Reporting directly to the CFO, the successful candidate will possess a proven track record in consistently delivering direct sales revenue. Responsibilities:
Lead the company’s East Coast revenue generating activities (main target markets include NYC, DC, Boston, Chicago and Miami)

StumbleUpon is seeking a talented research engineer to help us improve the quality of our recommendation engine. This will involve research, analysis and implementation of algorithms and data elicitation methods that improve recommendation relevance as user feedback occurs. The data source: Explicit preference and markup data on 29M websites from over 7.5M websurfers. In total over 9 billion detailed stumble/rating/review records are available to analyze. Research and implement changes to improve recommender quality
Help invent new heuristics and algorithms for information distribution and content discovery
Use statistical methods and machine learning to characterize user preference

Qualifications:

StumbleUpon is seeking a driven administrative professional to manage our busy San Francisco office and assist with HR projects. Reporting to the HR Director, this position is 75% office management and 25% HR support. As Office Manager, you will be one of the most visible people in our company. You will be expected to forge relationships with each member of our growing team, improve the organization and presentation of our office, and be a pillar of support for the executive group. Responsibilities:
Always stay two steps ahead of the team
Organize the delivery, set-up, and clean-up of Team Lunches on Mondays and Fridays. Source new restaurants and catering options for these meals
Keep an inventory of all office supplies and marketing collateral and place orders as needed
Maintain relationships with vendors and other service providers
Work with building management and/or outside vendors to resolve maintenance issues and office improvements
Keep the office and conference rooms clean and organized
Manage our Emergency Preparedness Program including leading building evacuation drills
Set up workstations for new employees and rearrange office furniture as needed
Assist HR Director with recruiting tasks and other HR-related projects as needed
Take the lead on event planning
Qualifications:
