https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4889 is another that works in FF. It's editing features are pretty basic compared to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/9924 . The only thing with Pixlr that hasn't been working for me, has been when I try and grab a portion of the screen. Uploading an image from the computer works like a dream. Also grabbing a web image is working again.

I may be strange, in this respect if no other, but I tend to more easily remember what I have or have not already tried by name (what) rather by URL (where).

I have those, but use little - for the on-line clog-up (log-jam for Canucks) mentioned by FG.
If I use on-line generators it tends to be mid to late UK morning when almost everybody else is asleep or busy or *out to lunch* - which for some is permanent state. :-P
Just found another; Capture Fox, https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/8090 and this one allows you to record anything that you do on screen. I guess you could utilise it to spy on where others go on your computer as well. I just let it run for about 30 secs and it created a 5mb video file. It's in the .avi format. Pretty kewl eh! You can even add voice if you have microphone.
