Encrypted Os How Would I do that?
Vista includes a new hard drive encryption feature called BitLocker Drive Encryption.

BitLocker can be a very useful security feature for businesses and home users that have sensitive and confidential information stored on their computer. Unfortunately, BitLocker Drive Encryption by default requires a Trusted Platform Module (TPM Chip) version 1.2 or later installed in your computer.

A lot of the computers and laptops on the market do not come with TPM chips installed since they are typically only found in premium model business computers. If you have Windows Vista Business, Ultimate or Enterprise but do not have a TPM chip, you can still use BitLocker Drive EncryptionLearn how to use BitLocker on a computer without Trusted Platform Module (TPM) in Microsoft Windows Vista and encrypt your hard drive with this step-by-step ..

How to use Vista BitLocker, Step 1

Here are the basic hardware requirements that BitLocker needs in order to work properly without a TPM:
.........................
1. A removable USB memory device. As I mentioned, if you don't have a TPM-enabled system, then the second way you can use BitLocker is by having the encryption key written to a removable USB flash drive.

2. A BIOS that can boot the system from a USB device. The USB drive with the BitLocker key must be connected and must be readable through BIOS when the system first starts; and this is why BitLocker needs a system that can boot from USB to make it work.

Note: With some computers, it's possible to plug in a USB device via a hub and still have it be seen by the computer at boot time. But, it's not always possible. If your system uses an external hub, you may want to experiment and see what ports are visible at boot time.

If your computer doesn't have the" tpm chip .....

and can't boot from a USB device, it is still possible to use BitLocker, although it will be somewhat cumbersome. BitLocker will provide you with a 48-digit recovery password to use when booting the system. You cannot set the recovery password manually, and its length is not user-settable, so that makes it a little difficult to use the recovery password as a standard-issue way to boot the computer.

The Unnecessary Evil of RSS Cookies
    unicom.com/blog/entry/561 [unicom.com/blog/entry/561]

There is absolutely positively no reason whatsoever for cookies to be triggered by an RSS (or ATOM) syndication feed.

They have no practical benefit to the user. Thus, they are a bad practice and should be stopped.

Content providers should avoid advertising bureaus that use them.

The primary promulgators of this evil are advertising bureaus such as Pheedo and Google AdSense for Feeds.

The cookie problem isn't caused by the syndication feed itself. Instead, the feed includes advertisements from a third-party bureau, and the included ads serve up the cookies. The purpose of HTTP cookies is to "add state" to a stateless protocol. HTTP, the protocol used on the web, simply fetches web pages.

Cookies extend the protocol to let the server note important information such as your username, your session identifier, and your pornographic preferences. There are benefits you get from adding state to web interactions.

You can establish a session. Your option settings can be remembered. There is, ho It's not an ideal solution, but it's sufficient to handle the most annoying of the bunch. Like Pheedo.
