have tae disagree on the top one..ah think the cat is merging intae the background,colours are too similar.ah woulda used another stop tae throw the background intae a complete blur,bringin the cat intae sharper relief an also woulda used flash tae get reflections from the eyes.
i like the way it blends in with the back ground...... part of the appeal. a sparkle can be easily brought out of the eyes. flash might have changed the character of the fur not necessarily a bad thing ..... just different.
that's why ah like photography.everyone's eye should be different.nae point in simply copying what others dae unless ye change or improve it .ps ah hate cats so mebbe ma "perspective" is coloured.
the first and third show promise, all are poorly cropped, exposure is both over exposed in bright areas and underexposed in the shadows, a reflector would have been useful,
