The genius of the show lies not just with its main protagonists but often with the quirky habits of its secondary characters. I can't nail down just one favorite, but for me Clint Howard as the kleptomaniac Rodney is a hoot. Then there is Geoffrey Lewis playing Gwen's dad who just happens to be a chronic drunk, and finally Giovanni Ribisi as Ralph a member of the old gang. Even Christian Slater playing the burnt out stoner on last nights episode was hilarious.
I agree on the cameos. Plus there is a family relation going on in the show too. Ethan Slurpee is married to one of Geoffrey Lewis' kids, and both he and his other daughter Juliette Lewis have been on the show. So it makes you wonder who will show up. Early in the year Burt Reynolds was on, so I wonder what the chances are of some other big name or well known actors are for an appearance. Love to see Clint Eastwood who hasn't done tv probably since Rawhide, and who is friend to both Lewis and Reynolds come on.
She hot in that sultry kind of way. Your ready for action girl that guys dream of.
The Scientology thing is also news to me. But your right I just Googled it and Slurpee shows up along with Lewis and Ribisi, and Jason Lee.
Still a good show as long as they stick to formula. As soon as they bring in a church agenda, I'm out of here. The only Scientology I like, is the version they lampoon on South Park.
Oops! I guess that's a real Freudian slip. Well you know there is nothing quite like a slurpee at 3am after a night out. It can help make the transition from bar to bed quite nice.
I of course meant Suplee. Maybe I have been subliminally programed through the show. (2 new episodes on tonight)
