I'm not sure if you posted this because of the incessant swearing, or because you genuinely believe that hadoop is the bees knees.
But let me give you the lowdown.
I started working with Hadoop well before this article was published and Hadoop became the overnight ultrarad.
In fact, The source package on NXVR still has a modified copy of Hadoop built specifically for CoFFree, and let me say this.
Hadoop is pretty damn cool.
Also, as only a little teensy sidenote, will completely, Utterly, totally, fuck you up if you aren't working with multi-million dollar computing clusters.
This article made me laugh, One because I never expected a Register article about Hadoop, and two, Because thinking in Hadoop set me back at least 4 months in terms of CoFFree development.
