... Seriously now, this is a superb, innovative game. The physics are absolutely awesome and the gameplay concept rocks. You have to steer a spiderlike creature through a parcours of blocks, with the help of its elastic tentacles which you have to operate seperately (via keypad). The scenery moves and the movement gets faster and faster ... if you leave the screen: game over. Good thing the game is built in such a modular way that you can replace the dreadful music with an MP3 file of your choice :]. There's also a level editor!
Today marks the official launch of the free-to-play online FPS title Combat Arms from Nexeon America. The launch marks the end of beta testing for the game and the addition of new content for players to enjoy.
The game allows players to track their skill levels, kills, clan matches and other stats online. The game puts players in numerous different worldwide combat zones. As players progress they unlock new weapons and new maps. At launch the game also gets a capture the flag mode.
"Combat Arms carves out a unique space in the modern FPS market by eliminating subscription fees and locked areas and adding plenty of free weapons," said Nexon America VP of Marketing Min Kim. "For the first time, gamers can experience a high-quality FPS experience for free. Chart Wars 3 is a fun record company sim. It's by Osiris Games whose website is down but still have their forums up. There are a few old games and some upcoming on there.
Rumblebox is a great original fighting game. The controls seem a little bit gummy but it's worth it. The goal is to make it to the top of the arena walls by killing your enemies, who break apart and stay on the floor. It has a good point system and combos can be fun.
